Chinese Independent Cinema Today

As part of the Chinese Independent Film Archive 华语独立影像资料馆 (CIFA) launch, Newcastle Arts Centre’s Black Swan venue and the Tyneside Cinema are hosting screenings of a variety of films from Chinese independent filmmakers, as well as post-screening Q&A sessions with some of the filmmakers. Featuring work from long-standing filmmakers, many of the films have never been screened in the UK before.
