Job Title: Site Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for someone with experience of buildings maintenance, to work at Newcastle Arts Centre on Westgate Road.

The position would include:

– Caretaking: setting up rooms, moving furniture and cleaning and similar duties.
– Building maintenance: painting and decorating, general site maintenance, joinery and repairs, meter reading, fire marshal checks and documentation.

The role would be working alongside an existing long-term member of staff, on a 30 hour a week contract.
