Here at Newcastle Arts Centre we’re passionate about connecting with the next generation of artists from Newcastle (for many years we’ve been the home to Newcastle College’s Degree Shows!) So we’re thrilled to be supporting this project and a further opportunity to showcase the artwork of North East young people. Make sure to see this exhibition, with us for only 1 week! Who knows, you may be witnessing art of the future…

About the exhibition…
This engaging collection showcases student interpretations of the theme Structures, explored and investigated through a wide lens. From architectural forms and social frameworks, to imagined worlds and body anatomy, each piece invites viewers to consider the visible and invisible structures that shape our surroundings.
The exhibition features a rich variety of materials and media, including sculpture, painting and photography, reflecting the creativity and individuality of each student’s response.
St. Mary’s ambitions…
“They’ll get a chance to see members of the public interact with their work outside of the school setting. And we wanted students to create work for an exhibition so they could experience taking their ideas to a wider audience.“
