You can access our Gallery and see this exhibition anytime Monday-Saturday, 9:30am-5pm, with entrances via the Craftshop at 67 Westgate Road, or via Black Swan Court at 69 Westgate Road, and through our Details Art Materials shop.

The Exhibition

We have been running the Northern Summer Exhibition since 2023. We’ve been thrilled to watch its reach grow in such a short space of time, with submissions received in 2024 doubling those of 2023.
For 2025’s exhibition, we’re thrilled to have 124 Artworks and 100 Artists featured on our Gallery walls.
This open submission exhibition is for professionals, hobbyists, or those who have always fancied having a go. Any Northern artist is welcome in our Summer Exhibition 2025.
Best In Show
Our Judging Panel will select two of the Artworks to be awarded Best in Show. The artists of these works will be announced at the Preview on Sat 9th Aug, and will each be awarded an £100 Details Art Materials voucher.
Throughout the Exhibition we will also have a ballot box for visitors to vote for the Audience’s Best In Show. The winner of which will be announced at the close of the exhibition, and will also be awarded a £100 Details Art Materials voucher.
