This is a one-part morning course on:
Thursday November 5th
10am – 1pm

Learn more about colour in this introductory workshop led by artist Rory Williams. You’ll be guided through a series of drawings and explore how to create bold, dynamic artworks using a range of colour palettes. Along the way, we’ll look at how warmth, tone, and contrast can completely shift the mood of your work, helping you develop a more confident and expressive use of colour.

All abilities welcome.
All materials provided.

Booking Procedure – What happens next?

What should you bring with you on the day?
Nothing at all! We provide all the materials you need for every course. We do recommend wearing clothing that is easily washed – just in case!

Refreshments
Refreshments are not provided, however we provide water for our attendants.

Where do the art courses take place?
All courses take place in Studio A or Studio B on the Second Floor of our Studio Block. This can be reached through the Black Swan Courtyard (on Westgate Road).

Parking
We recommend parking in the Grainger Town Multi-Storey (NE1 4DP) – 5 Minute walk from Newcastle Arts Centre.

Cancelling a course booking?
If you are not able to come to a course you have booked just get in touch with us as soon as you can. We will try to arrange a full refund where possible. Need to cancel your booking? You must inform us at least one week before the course’s start date to guarantee a refund.
