Explore the art of still life painting through a playful and unconventional lens in this hands-on oil painting workshop with artist Rory Williams.
Working from a series of deliberately peculiar and imaginative still life setups, you’ll learn to capture form, colour, and composition while embracing the unexpected. This session invites you to look beyond traditional arrangements, finding beauty and meaning in the strange, humorous, and surreal.
Whether you’re refining your technique or diving into oil painting for the first time, you’ll leave with a stronger grasp of the medium, and a renewed sense of curiosity about what makes an object paint-worthy.
