This is a two-part daytime course on:
Saturdays 5th & 12th December
10am – 4pm
Over this 12 hour course, you will learn the basic oil painting techniques to help you paint a countryside landscape in winter. Working from photos, you’ll learn how to start a landscape painting in oils, and how to build it up using layers. Winter landscapes come with their own challenges, so you’ll learn how to paint the snow without just using white, how to paint winter trees etc. # Please be aware that oils can be messy and stay wet for a few days – so please wear an apron or old shirt. As we’d love for you to take your painting away with you, please bring a box to carry it home in – the final artwork will fit into an A4 file.
