If you have always wanted to paint, but not really know where to start then this course offers solid advice and guidance for the true beginner.
The materials are included in the course but you will be advised on what to look for when buying a basic painting kit. Jason will also be happy to answer all your questions about the various types of paints available, their pros and cons and how to get started without breaking the bank. You will be shown how to mix colours, diluting and thickening the paint, how to lighten and darken colours and a little of the basics of colour theory so that you can get to the colours you are trying to mix more quickly. We will also look at ways to handle brushes to gain a variety of marks.
By the end of the course you will have created a very simple picture using the skills learnt. No previous experience of painting required.
