With Steve Lyon Bowes
This is a four-part course on:
Wednesdays 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th November.
6 – 9pm
Painting wildlife can be a wonderful thing, and birds in particular hold a fascination for many artists.
In this 12 hour course, we’ll cover the basics of painting birds – choosing the right photo, capturing the details of the feathers, putting the bird into an environment etc. This course is aimed at anyone wishing to develop their painting in oils, regardless of experience. The teaching can be adapted to suit the individual needs of each learner.
Please be aware that oils can be messy and stay wet for a few days – so please wear an apron or old shirt. As we’d love for you to take your painting away with you, please bring a box to carry it home in – the final artwork will fit into an A4 file.
All abilities welcome.
All materials provided.
Need to cancel your booking? You must inform us at least one week before the course’s start date to guarantee a refund.
