This is a two-part evening course on:
Wednesdays, October 7th & 14th
6pm – 9 pm
In this course we will explore joy, creativity and identity by making miniature papier-mâché figures.
Papier-mâché has a long and diverse history, and has been used by artists and artisans across the world to make work that ranges from decorative to expressive to functional – or a combination of all three.
Taking inspiration from this, attendees to this course can choose the meaning and purpose their figures will have, learning over two sessions how to design and make basic figures, and then exploring acrylic painting techniques, colour and pattern-making, to bring these figures to life!
