With Millie Avis
This is a one day course on:
Saturday, October 3rd
10am – 4pm
The process of monoprint has been known since the 17th century, developing in many ways to offer artists a variety of techniques that produce very different effects.
This course will take you through the three most commonly used methods in monoprint. Some of these will use a printing press, whilst others can be printed by hand so you can continue to print at home! The morning will be spent learning and experimenting with techniques, before an extended period of the afternoon where you can resolve compositions. Throughout the day, advice, tips and tricks will be shared.
Please bring a selection of A4 printed images to work from, as well as a bag or folder to take your finished prints home with you.
Printing can get messy, therefore please wear clothes you do not mind potentially getting ink on!
All abilities welcome.
All materials provided.
Need to cancel your booking? You must inform us at least one week before the course’s start date to guarantee a refund.
