Introducing stand up comedian and junior doctor Michael Akadiri, on tour with his latest show: Don’t Call me Uncle! Having scooped up awards with his earlier productions including Trust me, I’m a Daddy and the No Scrubs Special (check that out here on YouTube) Michael has been inspired by recent events to write and produce Don’t Call me Uncle!
Charming, cheeky and observationally humerous, Michael wears many hats; comedian, doctor and father but until recently NOT uncle. That changed when, despite being in his early 30s, Michael was given said title by a member of the lovable public and since then he has been sent spiralling.
Join Michael as he comes to terms with the passing of time in his own deightfully comedic way as he brings this new show here to The Black Swan.
