A hands-on introduction to the most classic of chainmail weaves: European 4-in-1! Learn to create this fascinating sheet weave used for Roman and medieval armour, and then explore its fabric-like properties by creating your own custom piece of jewellery. By combining a few basic shapes there are endless possibilities for expression: from earrings to bracelets, and chokers to chains. Whether you complete a piece in the session or begin something larger to finish at home, there’ll be plenty of time for questions, advice, and feedback as we go.
