This is a one-part morning course on:
Saturday, September 12th
10am – 1pm
During this course you will learn how to create botanical inks from wild plants and food waste. You will learn about their historic background and scientific process involved in their production.
This hands-on workshop will teach you different extraction techniques, and how to use thickeners and modifiers to alter shades.
You will make your own annotated colour palettes for painting, drawing, and writing and will be able to try them out to make your own artwork. You will also get advice on how to preserve and store the inks.
All abilities welcome.
