Metro
We’re just around the corner from Newcastle Central Station and its Metro Station. Exiting Central Station you will be on Neville Street. Cross the traffic lights to get to the bottom of Grainger Street, between Starbucks and Central Oven & Shaker. Walk a little way up Grainger Street, and you’ll soon intersect with Westgate Road. Turn left up Westgate Road. We are on the left hand side of the street.
From Monument Metro, walk down Grainger Street until you get to Westgate Road and then turn right up the street. We are on the left hand side of the street.

All of the below Bus Stops are within a couple minutes walk to Newcastle Arts Centre:

Directions
Regrettably, Google Maps often sends cars into ‘No Car Lanes’ and a fine, so please be careful when using their directions.
If coming from the west use the A186, Westgate Road.
If coming from the east or Tyne Bridge, take Pilgrim Street roundabout onto the A186 heading for Central Station. Follow the A186 past Central Station and turn right onto the A189, St James Boulevard. Continue along St James Boulevard and take the next right onto Westgate Road. The Arts Centre is 50 yards after the junction with Clayton Street. There is an all vehicle loading bay at the front door.
Do not approach from Clayton Street – there is a new ‘No Car Lane’ with camera.

The Arts Centre does not have its own parking but there are many public and privately owned car parks around Newcastle. The closest car parks to the Arts Centre include:
Grainger Town Car Park (near Dance City)
Times Square Car Park (near the Redheugh Bridge)
The Gate
Central Station (Short Stay or Long Stay)
